I have a basic plan for starting a POS for the hsckerspace. Incremental steps. <br> First phase, just for dev, buttons to add cash and coin. Later will remove them and interface the real hardware. <br> A simple credit up system, plus some items, names and values read from a simple table or database. <br> Finally a simple back end accounting system.

Thanks for the help guys. Managed to desolder the ribbon cable and put it <br> in the correct position. I was thrown at the beginning, but got it to <br> print out. I was expecting pin2 to be pin 1 based on the arrow on the <br> plastic casing, but seems mimics the board.
