I know.

But anyway, I want to start storing and sharing my photos non-locally.

Insta-poll:  which services are good?  From what I read, Flikr doesn't work with android (and must be destroyed!).

I'd be thankful for input on reliable services that are free and featureful.

Thanks,

Jud

Dropbox integrates nicely with android. And sharing is also quite easy - just put them in a subfolder of "Photos" and send someone the link.

Thanks TAL Sit!

I've used Dropbox, but didn't know it was really easy to use with photos. Investigation is in order!

Best,

Jud

Dropbox / Google Drive / ... there is half a dozen...

Flickr is region limiting their app....
  Quite stupidly I think.
Otherwise it is likely to work

I'm a Flickrholic.

https://flickr.com/rubin110

It's true that their Android app can die in a fire, but out of all the photo hosting services out there they have the most useful and extensive API. There are dozens of other apps for Android that mostly do everything you would want to do. Particularly Flickfolio and Glimmr. Also Fluidr on the web is a fairly nice way of presenting your Flickr stream, and I can't even count the number of plugins available for WordPress that connect to Flickr.

Anyhow, my $0.02.
