Simply slanted because otherwise you might block windows of the other buildings?
Having the next building only 1.20m away from your window is bad
already (but not uncommon in Japan).
However, having your windows totally blocked might be too much even
for Japanese living style.
Just an idea ;)
I think its a great idea...
* Create hundreds of them spread over e.g. Tokyo.
* Offer online reservation and online payment only.
* Electronic access only.
* A bigger sort of postbox which will be restocked with towels, if
used once are placed in them.
* No other service beside cleaning in between different guests.
People who decide to stay for a few days in Tokyo or those decide to
stay overnight, simply go online (sure an App would be nice ;) ) book,
pay, receive a pin-number. Entering the pin-number would give them
access. Doing all this online and keeping the service low and very
standardized cuts down the costs significantly.
Guess that would be a solid business model
