Subject: Otemba v1.0 - Tokyo Hackerspace Arduino Clone

Hi,

I have added an extensive README to the github page of the Otemba. It
includes the BOM with reference to all the parts at Akizuki.
https://github.com/TokyoHackerspace/Otemba

I also put up a blog post about it:
http://fakufaku.github.com/Projects/2012/08/24/otemba--tokyo-hackersp...

I hope someone will be able to continue this project and get some of the
boards in the cigarette machine.

Cheers,
Robin

What's the (max) dimension that fits well into the cigarette vending
machine? 85 x 55 x 20mm?
Someone is already working on a standard package in which to insert all
products?

From what I can find on Google, a soft pack would be 88x55x22. Remind
us next time you're at the space and we can measure the machine.

As for a standard package, Lauren linked to a template a long time ago
which has since disappeared.
Maybe Lauren or MRE kept a copy?

Here's a .pdf file, but it may not be to our scale. Someone with
better SVG skills than I can probably make something workable out of
it. We could use our Craft Robo machine to cut out the template.

Thanks for asking. More help is always welcome!

Hi all,

Regarding the hack-o-matic:
Marco and I looked at it last Tuesday, intending to measure the
interior to see a maximum size, but the machine was locked. I assume
Lauren kept the key with her during the move, so we'll wait on that.
Now that we have two projects (DigiSporc and Otemba) we can start
making packages to match.
