How can this still not be fixed? This is driving me crazy. And I don't
want to rely on a freaking script to put the signature at the top of
the message.

Is there any way to convert a filter into a group?

In my opinion groups and filters should at least partially mirror
each other.

Actually just one of them but more flexible would do the trick of
adding new contacts into groups.

When creating mail filter, it would be nice if we had a date option.

Use case:
User receives mails from some mailing list daily. The information
contained in mails gets outdated after some time. User wants to
archive mails from that list which are older than a month.

One thing I use often in vim is the ability to give a number before a
command to define how many times you want that command repeated (eg.
10j sends the cursor 10 lines ahead). I'd love to see this

My connection is not always super fast, and sometimes the gmail blog
on the login page
take a few seconds to load ( since it is another connection ).
The problem is, since the page is not fully loaded,
the auto-completion of passwords ( with firefox ) in order to login,
will not work.
It would be better to have a better caching system, and no ajax call

Sometimes I read and email but have to get back to it later (or I'm
waiting for somebody cc'd in the email to reply first). It would be
good if I could add a reminder note for an email thread so I can
recall what my thoughts were when I first read the email.

I could begin an email and save a draft but it seems more clumsy when
