P(x), x € R için >=x^2 olduğundan, ve P(1)=1, P(2)=4 olduğundan,

P(x)=a(x-1)^2*(x-2)^2+x^2 olarak yazılabilir.

P(-1)=a(-2)^2*(-3)^2+(-1)^2=19

a*4*9=18

a=1/2

P(x)=1/2*(x-1)^2*(x-2)^2+x^2 dir.

P(3)=1/2*4*1+9=11
