Hi,

I'm new to TextMate and new to the plugin as well.

I'm looking for a way to get syntax highlighting for .groovy and .gsp files. I was hoping the plugin would do it, but no luck.

Thanks.

Hi Ken,

It should happen automatically. When you have a groovy file open, what is the language set to? (it's a drop down at the bottom of the window, just right of the line and column number).

It was plain text, but for some reason Groovy is not one of the
options. Did I do something wrong?

I set it to Java for now, I'll play with some of the others to see
what I get until somebody responds.

Thanks.

The bundle did not install properly. How did you install?

OK, I found the problem. When I started composing this response, I
noticed that the place I decompressed the archive had the name of the
directory changed, but the library location had the original name.
When I changed it and started TextMate, I opened a groovy file and set
the language back to groovy and it highlights properly.

I did this with the command line, and I suspect I got careless when I
copied the directory over and got the wrong one.

Thanks.
