Get TLN Personal Nutrition and Fitness Instruction!    


I created Tough Love Nutrition's TLN Group and TLN Blog to offer all of the free information you will ever need to gain better health through proper nutrition and fitness choices. 

 

If you need more help or motivation and are in the Burlington, Vermont area, I am for hire to provide advanced personal instruction in the following areas:

 

  • Healthy Grocery Shopping - Grab a cart and let's hit the aisles of your favorite grocery store!  Learn how to read food labels and why all of the best groceries are not always the most expensive, or found in the natural foods section.
  • Smart Health Food Store Shopping - Whether you shop or have never stepped foot in a health food store, they are are a great treat!  Health food stores are fantastic, but also pricey.  Learn my cost-effective strategies for buying health food store grocery items and supplements .
  • Meal and Exercise Time Management - Most of us know how to eat right and exercise, but do a poor job including these priorities in our busy days.  Let me dissect your regular routine and teach you how to use a combination of meals and nutrition supplements to get you through EVERY day.  We'll even find you some time to complete regular exercise!
  • Basic Weight Training - Exercise trends come and go, but weight training remains as one of the most effective types of exercise.  Unfortunately, it is also greatly misunderstood and improperly performed.  Let me show you proper form, technique and how to create a routine based on your fitness needs.
  • Home Gym Consulting - With time being a luxury for most of us, a home gym is a great alternative to being a member at the local health club (my home gym has saved me from many missed workouts!).  From a few choice pieces of equipment to all of the bells and whistles, I can help you piece together a home gym based on fitness requirements, space and budget.

My experience in the nutrition industry, and importantly, personal commitment and methods for living a healthy lifestyle, provides an eye-opening learning experience that will benefit you and your family immensely!  

 

There's no complicated handouts, slide presentations or boring lectures either.  Whether cruising the supermarket aisles with you for healthy buys, purging your pantry and refrigerator of junk food, or running a family nutrition intervention, this is a completely hands-on and FUN experience!

 

I offer nutrition and/or fitness instruction for individuals or small groups (up to 3 people).  The first 15 minutes of my travel time is on me.  Sessions are limited and scheduled on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Arrangements can be made to schedule a Basic Weight Training session at my fully equipped home gym.
