Hey all,
Ever wonder what would happen if we eliminated the tithe, and

I am born again and my parents are both born again and recently I
joined a new church. To my disappointment I found out that the full
tithe belongs to the Pastor although she has a full time day job at
government. the only money that is in the church bank account is the
offerings. I need revelation on this matter becos I believe tithe is

I personally don't have a question-been tithing for years but am now
preparing to teach on tithing & offerings-people are arguing that it's
old testament and new testament is all about free will offering--I
need to be able to support what I am about to say.

I was first introduced to the gospel when I was 16 years of age. I,
however did not receive Christ into my heart until 20 years later. My
interest in receiving info about "Tithing" is that I've stumbled into
a "church" that mandates giving a Tithe to this place and I don't this
is the spirit of Christ as my Social Security earnings have placed me

I am a bornagain christian from India. I come from a Hindu family
background.I am paying my tithe every month. this week a collegue
[ jehovah's witness]of mine challenged me about giving tithe and, I
showed her the verse from malachi. So, I like to know as much as about
tithe so that, I can boldly say, I obey God.

38 year active lds member, high priest, currently hp instructor,
