What's Happening Out There?
Hi, everyone, how was summer? Just wondering what might be happening in each of your worlds. Are people buried in code? Is there another new and exciting group I should move to? Were you all hired by CCSSO/NGAC to build state-driven education? Ed

Git commits to the mailing list
Obviously, I'm now sending git commits to the mailing list. Things have slowed down a bit in the last couple of weeks because of (a) OSCON and (b) me scrambling for a bit of business :) but things should pick up soon. --g

Adobe Edge Preview (HTML5 Editor)
Hi all, I haven't had a chance to try it just yet but at least on paper Adobe's Edge Preview ([link]) looks like a product which might also end up being of interest to the tinygames gang:-) Cheers, Christoph

Migrating the wiki, fleshing out the web site
Tinygames has a miserable web presence right now. I'll be working to fix that over the next few days, probably before I commit any more code to the repo. So: Item #1: get the wiki migrated to Github. Item #2: put up a barebones presence on tinygames.org, which is a wasteland right now. That's all. Lots going on at OSCON, so I'm just checking in.... more »

At OSCON, btw.
I probably should have mentioned this earlier, LOL. I'm at OSCON through Saturday. If you're at OSCON too, ping me and let's see if we can catch up. I was hoping to spend more of my time here on Tinygames, but some of the folks I'd hoped to meet were not able to make it, so I've been doing other stuff.... more »

Just renamed the Git repo to tinygames.
Thus: [link] For those who are tracking the previously named repo, it might be best to blast it and clone the new one. I may have just made some big problems for myself, so I'll be sorting through them over the next few days. :) --g

New game code: Mongo's Academy
[link] It's the first step along the "reproduce the Khan Academy progressions" path. The structure is identical to the very top of the skills tree, here: [link] The dungeons don't actually go anywhere yet. For now, the player... more »
