When I have collected a file from the students (after first sending it
to them and collecting it back from them), I created a portfolio.
However, when I select which students I want to view their portfolio
item, it only opens up 1 file...not all of the ones I selected. Any
suggestions? I am using windows xp.

Dear Jeff,
I hardly know what you are talking about, sorry, but from you have you
said, it seems like you can only open one file at a time. I'm sorry if
this is an awful suggestion, but I still tried. =(
Sincerely,
-TJ

Select the tools tab or go to the tools menu and
select Collect from Class. The class must be "started". You will then get a
dialog box from which you can select the files that you recently sent to the
class or you can enter the filename. THe next step requires you to pick the
individuals you are collecting the file from. Usually this is the entire class.
Then select finish. You will see the collection progress on the left of the
screen.
Hope that hepls

Mine will open all files I select using the Ctrl key if I right click
and select Open files. It takes a while (2-5 min) to open all of them
though; and if I get in a hurry and click something else, then it
stops with the file it is on. Also after selecting the files, you can
go to the Portfolio on the tool bar and open the files. I have opened
everything from 1 to 22 files both ways.

It seems that the TE of the software will only let you open one file at
a time using this method, while the SE works as before. You can just
change the file association to the SE if you have it.
