Does the iPad app have a capture key or a way to capture points?

As far as I know, the Nspire iPad app only allows for automatic capture (no manual capture with ctrl+.). Hope this helps.

  1. Currently there is no manual data capture, nor would there be an obvious direct correlation from the handheld or software for how to do this since there is no control button. So for teachers using a file that utilizes manual data capture, they may want to change it to automatic data capture before using it on the iPad.

I heard people saying that Manual data capture is vastly pedagogically different and superior to Automatic Data capture. At least one friend has commented that Manual data capture is their 'favourite' feature. (That narrows it down that they aren't from the U.S.)

It is possible to recreate that feature with a Lua script, isn't it ?
(with whatever simple keybinding you want, or just a tap on the Lua script widget actually :) )
