Nspire Version

I just received a replacement TI-Nspire CAS in the mail today.  (The original one would not turn on and was purchased the beginning of May.)  It is brand new in a retail box sicne I returned it to the place from which I purchased it, and the version on it is 3.2.4.1237.  The TI website shows the OS to be 3.2.3  Does anyone know anything about 3.2.4?  I'm wondering if I should use it to update my other calculators.

Checked web site and latest available is 3.2.3... not sure of what you
have...it is about time for an update to be available, but it does not
seem to be out yet...

Kim, in order to confirm other reports, it would be great to know what
the boot1 and boot2 versions on the calculator that you received are.
HOME 5 4 About will lead you to the dialog containing the information
we're looking for :)

Follow Lionel Debroux's instructions, as it seems it's a new version of the CX Operating System..

For those who need to download the 3.2.4 CX CAS version (it's the only one accepted by the device if the OS has been erased), here it is : http://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=17810 ("Télécharger" button at the top)

Its purpose is only to update the boot2 so that you'll be able to update to September's 3.6 version, as far as we know.

So, don't update now if you are not stuck without an OS, it's pointless.

3.6?  that seems to be a jump...I wonder what features will warrant such a skip.

I am hoping for some added features with the iPad.
