Does anyone have advice regarding creating functions usable in any document on an iPad.

On the handheld and desktop software, I them in a document in the MyLib folder. On the iPad when I try to create a MyLib folder, I'm can't seeing the complaint that MyLib is a reserved word.

I'd appreciate some help.

My Library  TIP for putting things in MyLib:

- From the home screen, press the gear. Choose Preferences and turn on the show MyLib.

Press the edit button in the upper right. Drag a file with programs, like 'area', into the red MyLib folder.

I didn’t need to refresh the library for the files to show up. However, the program I wanted to use, ram(), didn’t work outside of the ‘area.tns’ file. I’m not sure why, but I got some kind of argument error.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm getting the function I want by picking it off the library menu.

It didn't seem to be visible by direct typing, such as "u\standardize(data)" which works elsewhere, but I'll try again a little later. (I'm about to see a movie in a moment.)

Thanks so much for the *quick* reply. I'm up and running with a lot of handy functions now.

I've double checked now, and typing the shared functions works just as well as picking them from the catalog.

(I tend to type on my computer, and pick on my handheld. I imagine I'll do more selecting on the iPad as well.)

Thanks again.
