TI has modified their "TI-Nspire 3.0 News" bulletin adding the
following issues since I last viewed it on the third of May:

"Complex numbers and LinalgCAS library
Using cZeros and cSolve with a local variable supplied as the variable
of interest. LinalgCAS library has been affected by this issue."

This may or may not be of interest because TI is still committing to:

"An update to TI-Nspire version 3.0 will be available by mid-May"
which is Monday. Hopefully the software flaws mentioned in the news
bulletin will be fixed by that update.

Monday at what time? (please use UTC so there's no misunderstanding
as to the exact instant of mid-May. I wouldn't want to be early or
late.)

I wouldn't get too precise.
Mid-May could be the middle third/fifth/"31st-th" lol
Someone will undoubtedly post on this group when it is available.
Or check TI website under downloads.  Cue Anticipation song...

Ha,ha,ha,ha, (LOL). Since it is TI and not I who made that
committment you need to ask them. I simply take them at their word
and assume that they are honest and reliable business people who take
their committments seriously and do what they say they will do. Don't
you?

Why there're so many beta-testing CX handhelds out there while TI-Care refuses to tell me the exact date of CX's market debut every time? I wish I could participate in beta-testing too. (it seems that some high school students also have a chance)
Cheers,

Travis, another good source of nspire information is Omnimaga for
example at the thread:
http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?topic=8272.60
Also www.casiocalc.org has a good thread
and ti-bank if you are fluent in French.
Actually those sites seem to instantly post news worthy info that I
sometimes don't find here or at education.ti.com ,for quite a while,
if at all. In fact I found out about the 3.0 bricking there long
before it was mentioned here so I didn't update and that saved me a
lot of time and worry but rest assured that I won't quit posting
here. I like the highly disciplined "we all must think alike and
never speak the truth if it might offend ti" approach. It keeps the
discussion down to where I can read everything in a minute or
two.

Jimmy:
Several online retailers are showing the CX in stock, so the market
debut must have been somewhere in the past. (perhaps somewhere
between mid-April and late-April).
