1 Remember on the 84 how we could type in y1= (7x+9) > (10x - 10)
Zoom6 and check our work/answer? Is there an equivalent on the
Npsire?

2 Also, is there a fast way to restore the y= back to f(1)=
after backspacing to use ineq.? I had to BClear Scratchpad.

thanks.

1.
Expressions like expr1 < expr2 would return 1 or 0 depending on whether they were true or false.
On the Nspire you can use the piecewise template or a when statement, when( (7x+9)  >  (10x - 10) , 1, 0)
By the way, although the shortcut on the 84 is nice, it's not mathematically accurate. a>b is either true or false, not 1 or 0. true=1 and false=0 is merely a convention. Plus, it doesn't make much sense to compute sin( Pi/((1<2) + (0>-2)) ) and get 1, right? ;)

2.
Just delete the inequality. It will disappear. y< or y> don't replace f1; so if you move the cursor down on the entry line you'll see that f1 is still there.

Cheers,
Nelson

#2 Sorry to be dim here.....
I tried to delete, but it seems to 'revert' on the Entry line.
I tried making it y= but it reverts
I can delete the graph line itself on the grid, but I cannot delete
from the Entry Line.

I'm not on 84 [that Transform app can be tricky--can only graph one
equation at a time]. thanks though.
I'm on Scratchpad graph. I'm trying to avoid 'Delete All' menu
choice. or BClear.

You're right, my bad.

Just click on the inequality graph and hit the backspace key. It will delete the inequality and with it the "y<..." on the entry line.
