A couple of thoughts recommendations on the topic of memory:
i) With the TI-Computer Link software (free download at http://education.ti.com/educationportal/sites/US/productDetail/us_nspire_computerlink.html) the students can back up what is on their handheld. It is always a good idea to back up your memory.
I had a student who was in a car accident a few weeks ago. She had her TI-Nspire CAS in her purse along with her digital camera. The camera was in a special case, but the screen broke on the camera. She was happy to report that her Nspire was fine.
But something could happen.

You are correct the students wouldn't be able to view the files, but they could download them to their handheld again if something were to happen.

ii) If I remember correctly a new TI-Nspire reports that the used memory was around 20 something %
Also most tns files are really small 2-5 KB. A big file is around 20KB. (Sure I've made files that are more like 50, but I'm not saying that is a good idea.)
I'm guessing you have around 14MB remaining free space. 14000/20= 800 more files you can fit on there.
If you did 10 files every week for 40 weeks, that would be 400 files. If each of the 400 files were 20 KB, that 8MB.
The Nspire can hold over 27 MB.

Go paperless :)

My goal is a paperless classroom and I am basically there, however I
am getting some hesitation from parents, and my anti-tech kids (yes
they exist). I am trying to find a balance that makes everyone
happy. I also video record all of my lessons so that my student can
go back and view them on their own time. I will try ANYTHING, but my
dream is paperless.

Many people will find this hard to believe but years ago, I knew a
University math professor who was totally blind. He couldn't see a
thing. His wife would walk him to class and put a piece of chalk in
his hand and place his hand on the left side of the board and he would
start his lecture writing on the board while working out problems in
his head. Of course students would raise their hands and ask how to
work certain problems from the assigned exercises. The professors
wife would then read the problem to him from the book and the
professor would write it all out on the board while working it out in
his head, step by step. It was absolutely amazing. He was a very
gifted person, but the point that I want to make is that he was doing
real(!) paperless. It was paperless without the paper substitute of a
computer or handheld screen and I think that if we can do some of
that, then we have really accomplished something, but to substitute a
screen for writing on the fiber substance we call paper, well, anyone
with money can do that. That's no big deal, however what the blind
math professor was able to do, I believe was a very bigh deal, and I
think that we need to work on doing more of that and using our minds
more and encouraging our students to think and not rely on technology
and then like the blind professor, then we have really accomplished
something significant.
