In my latest version (OSX ). I can't seem to edit or save from the resources tab in the dev tools. There are also no revision history for edited files. I can only find the changes in the source's tab.
To you have any insights into this? Is this why Tincr is not working for me?
Thanks
Heaps

It should work for the latest version of Chrome. Can you give me some
more info? What exactly are you trying?

Hi, thanks heaps for replying. So I can't get it to work. I have
installed and in the tincr tab in the dev tools everything seems fine

Selected http web server
root directory has a green tick,
I have error log reporting on, no errors are coming up in the console.

I am thinking the problem is that I can not edit the css files ( or
any files) in the resources tab, as shown on your demonstration
video.
I can edit the html/css in the elements tab. But those changes are not
being updated in the resources tab. They are however being updated in
the Sources tab.

I though this may be because in the latest stable version (Version
21.0.1180.89) the css or js files in the resources tab are not
editable anymore? I don't know.
I found this info about it
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/google-chrome-developer-tools/YbXhmirO4H4/Uusd4DEziJsJ

Can you confirm if you resource tab is still editable?
if not, does tincr still work?

Perhaps I just have another configuration problem? Like file
permissions perhaps? I dont know.

Thanks a lot
Cameron

I can confirm that everything should still work. What operating system
are you using?

There are a couple of known issues with Windows.

Hey guys!

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but I was having a similar issue with CSS not updating on edit with tincr.

As it turns out, the extension wouldn't read the .css file due to a URL variable, e.g. style.css?v=1. I removed the URL var and it worked great!

Feels like it could be a regex issue, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben,

Thanks for letting me know about this. You found a bug. I confirmed the behavior you're describing. I'm working on fixing this right now.
