Subject: Timpani35.238 Skills List Question

First I just wanted to say that I love this program!! You guys did an
awsome job... and I don't even want to know where you found the time to do
it all.  [?]

My question is this (an mybe someone else has pointed it out already), but
is there a reason the the skill "Intuit Direction" is not listed on the
"SkillRanksD" sheet while it is listed on the "SkillD" sheet?

The reason I ask is that the program does not allow you to choose the
Intuit Direction skill when selecting skills for a class. I've "gotten
around" it by making a note on a separate sheet of paper, but that kinda
defeats the purpose of the program (to me at least).

Any help you can give here would be great.

Thank you,

Robert

Hi Robert,

Sorry for the delay in replying to your message. I'm having some problems
with dndtools.com mail -- but I shouldn't have let that stall things so
long. My apologies.

Thanks for your kind words. It's always nice to hear that people are using
and enjoying the tools. Since you're asking about v35.328 I assume you're
playing 3.5e. The 3e skills Intuit Direction and Wilderness Lore got
combined into Survival in 3.5e. I'm not sure why Intuit Direction still
shows up on SkillD -- must be a minor bug.

Please write back if you have any more problems or questions, and I'll
reply much quicker next time.

Cheers,
- Pam Greene

No problem about the delay.

Thanks for the response. I knew they had been combined in 3.5e, but with ID
showing up on the SkillD page it was throwing me.

Oh, also had a friend of mine (whose playing in my game) ask if you're
going to do a Timpani for Pathfinder.

Thanks again for the response and the great work on Timpani... I'm loving
it!

Robert

Apologies to your friend, but I don't think a version for Pathfinder is in
the works. It's really hard for me to make a tool for a game I've never
played.  Sorry!

- Pam

P.S. dndtools.com email is fixed now.

LOL! Can't blame you there... especially if you haven't played it.

He was just curious as he loves using Timpani for his D&D3.5e characters.
