Hi there.

I love the tasktimerplugin, but I'm always trying to think of new ways
to make it better.

Right now, I'm using it like this:

- I have the tasktimer button in "mainmenu" so it's always available,
click it to start the countdown, click it again to write in a
description, and the thing saves a new line with the description,
start, stop, elapsed and so on in the journal tiddler.

I was wondering if I could use it like this:

- Have a "new task timer" tiddler-link in main menu, when you click
it, a new tiddler pops up in edit-mode and the timer automatically
starts in that tiddler, you edit its title, its tags, and content like
normal, and when you click done, it automatically adds the start -
stop - elapsed time as slices below what you already typed into it,
and it adds a new line into the journal tiddler of the day the [[title
of the newly created tiddler]] - start - stop - elapsed like usual.

Would this be possible?

Regards,
K.

....did I just throw away the tasktimerplugin code by suggesting this?

Let's say the "new task" tiddler link automatically creates a new
editable tiddler.. couldn't the tasktimer plugin just change the
"done" function in edit mode to add a "if tiddler contains the tag
"task" it'll add "started" - "stopped" - "elapsed" as slices at the
bottom of the tiddler?

And the journal tiddler could just contain a Foreachtiddler call.

.... this possible?

K.
