Hi, I have firefox 3.5.5. I know I upgraded it a bit ago, but I am
not sure if that was before or after this problem. I am running
Windows 7 too, but have been using that for some time (beta trial).

Today, when I tried to download some plugins the browswer stopped
responding after I got the list of plugins (from Eric Shulmans site).

I could down load plugins if I switched to MS Explorer, so I am
thinking its a Firefox problem.

Does anyone have any ideas whats wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Grant

You could try a fresh Firefox profile:

Thanks, but nope, no luck. I will try it all on a clean Win7 install,
32bit this time, I just made...

Anyone else working with Win7, 64bit, and the lastest Firefox? And
perhaps using the MPTW from Tiddlyspot.com? And then with Eric's
QuickEdit installed? :-)

OK, I am really sorry everybody, but it turns our that if I wait 5
minutes or so, then things start responding again... odd, but at least
not a critical problem.

Cheers,

Grant
