I recently posted on my blog about my adventures with DabbleDB and
EarthCalendar.net. What I didn't mention was that I used TiddlyWiki to
screen-scape all of the data from EarthCalendar.net.

I wanted to use Dapper.net, because I try to use these DIY tools as
much as possible, but in this case it didn't cut it (although tech
support sorted things out later). It turned out to be pretty easy to
write a little plugin to scrape all the info from Earthcalendar.net.

I think that TiddlyWiki making this so easy is really great; and more
than that - because you are naturally encouraged to turn all the data
into tiddlers, it makes repurposing the data and mashing it up really
easy as well.

I've been talking to PSD (http://blog.whatfettle.com) about using
TiddlyWiki in a pipeline of throwing data around the web. I think
there's a lot of interesting possibilities here.
