Checking out Morris' TWT-Treeview-Executive I decided to give the
"save as" command again on my Mac. Again, I got the error message I've
gotten previously.

error during local file access: [Exception... "Component returned
failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)
[nsILocalFile.persistentDescriptor]" nsresult: "0x80520012
(NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)" location: "JS frame :: file:///Users/ericweir/Documents/TiddlyWikis/twt-treeview-executive.html
:: anonymous :: line 12710" data: no]

Another problem I've reported previously and that seems to be related
-- I get a similar error message -- is inability to load graphic
images into my TWs. I get around these problems by loading my TWs on a
USB stick, then running them on a Windows machine, and doing the
things there that I can't do on Mac.

I'm emboldened to ask for help on this again by the fact that
periodically others here identify themselves as Mac users, including
Jeremy Ruston himself. I assume they're not having this difficulty.
Makes me think this is not a systemic problem, but something unique to
my setup.

A possible clue to what's going on: When I'm running a TW on the
Windows machine, do my first edit, and the tiddler gets save, I always
get the security warning that asks me if I want to allow the "risky"
operation. This never happens on the Mac.

I run my TWs in Firefox. I wonder if FirefoxPrivilegesPlugin would help.

Thanks,
