One company in south Korea, introduces new designed chain less electric bikes.
They said “This e-bike has a generator in bike BB, @300w hub motor, folding, carbon frame & in frame battery, 37.4 lbs, max 19 mph, 3 hours charge-25 mile range”.
If battery discharged out, how to return home? by the two legs?

Yes, the pedals power a generator which sends power to the battery and
hub motor. So you can move the bike by pedaling, even if the battery
is discharged. But a chain drive is 97+% efficient while a generator/
motor combo is less than 80%, so it is a complicated systemt hat is
much less efficicent thant he traditional approach.
