For those of you out there who plan to attend ,
Please let us know what you would like to work on.

We would be happy to accommodate any request on the day of, but the more we know we know about who is coming and what their expectations are, the better prepared we can be.

It can be something as simple as “Id like to cast more accurately, or Id like to tune up my role cast.”

Mabey you want to bring someone who has never cast before. No problem. We always have a few extra rods!

More advanced casters might want to reach out to 80ft, thread a needle on your back cast, or even learn some aerial mends.

Mabey you want to learn some spey casts with your single hand rod.

Throw tighter loops, or learn a new cast altogether.

Mabey you beed a study buddy for your Federation casting certification.

Two handed casters are also welcome, just bring waders and boots.

Outstanding! I will come and work on spey...I might bring my son to try and get back into fishing after I nearly froze him on a winter trip. See you tomorrow

I'll try to attend as well. I'm new to the group and just getting into fly fishing. I've been fishing with conventional tackle for 25 years or so, but have always wanted to break into fly fishing. So I finally pulled the trigger and got my first outfit (single hand). Are these event's usually held at Fletcher's? I saw there was one there recently but didn't see a location for this date.

Welcome to the group. We typically try to hold a casting church once a month. They are always held at Fletchers! In the past they have not been on a specific date, but instead whenever the instructors were available and decided to call one.

Starting in May TPFR will be holding a Casting Church rain or shine on the second Sunday of every month from 9am to 11am.

Other members TPFR members may put together additional casting churches throughout each month as well, so watch the forum for opportunities to get free instruction!  

Were truly blessed to have so many talented instructors in the group who are willing to volunteer their time.
