River Bend

I went to River Bend park today. I just needed to believe the river was finally fishable. It is not. But it is so close. If I had a kayak I could have reached some good water. I waded. It was borderline safe enough for that. I think one more week without rain and the river will be in better condition.

The key is "without rain."  That doesn't seem to happen this summer!  Fishing hasn't been the best for smallmouth this year because of the constant rain.
