This guy was spotted just north of the cove today. At the rate he was catching I'm guessing he was in triple digits easy. Shad run is in full swing.

If he arrived in a Porsche Carrera RS, then that's Jayson Werth of the Nats. ;-)

It was an early rise Wednesday to get out with this motley flotilla, but well worth it for the lights out fishing and hearty laughs!
Attached is a photo of Dan Davala and Dave Perkins doubled up. I can't tell if Mike Bailey is tied into a fish but he is clearly all smiles.
Also, Alex Binsted quickly proved his ability to bring Ol' Mr. Pajama Pants to the boat as we made our first pass down the cove.
Hopefully the river gauge stays below 5 feet for the weekend. Enjoy the fishing!!
