PHEFF Fly tying Event

I wrote and inquired about the fly tying event to benefit PHW as I was considering making the trip up from SC to participate.  Here's the message I got back:

Hi John

 

We will not be having the Quantico Fly Tying Marathon this year as the Marine Corps Museum is closed until sometime April/May for a major remodel.

John, Marty was referring to the Quantico event.  We will, however have and event on March 19 at the Port City Brewery in conjunction with the Walter Reed PHWFF Program.  More details will follow as the time gets closer.  We had one last year at this same location and it was a great success.  Hope you can come up for it.

We will be combining last years shows from Quantico and Walter Reed at Port City on March 19. We'll need a head count of who is going as space is limited. Doors open at noon. 

This is an informal announcement. I'll have it nailed down soon to formally announce.

The PHWFF Fly Tying Marathon will be held on March 19, 2016 from 12 noon - 4PM at Port City Brewing, just to confirm the time and place. I'll put up another post next week as a reminder.
