Vestea pe care ne-o daţi este *excelentă* - niciodată n-am înţeles de ce
nu pot citi Arghezi pe Internet...
Să dea bunul Dumnezeu ca această iniţiativă:
- să se realizeze practic;
- să fie ferită de tehnologii proprietare şi restrictive gen DRM,
formate de fişier single-vendor, website-uri care nu se deschid decât cu
X browser;
- textele să aibă ş-uri şi ţ-uri cu virgulă... ;-)
- să fie interoperabilă cu alte resurse de acest gen din lume.
Altfel, dacă pentru vreun interes de moment, se alege cine ştie ce
tehnologie proprietară pentru a transforma toate operele astea în
conţinut digital, e păcat de munca şi banii investiţi...
Mă gândeam că ar trebui să folosim un format de fişier care a fost
conceput special ca să asigure prezervarea fidelă a „billions and
billions of legacy digital documents”. :-)))

demanding that they embargo the use of DRM technology on their
collection and create a policy that respects the motto that hangs
above their door: "free-to-all." To send a message to all libraries
that they too should respect their patrons' freedom, we urge you to
sign our open letter[2]. To take action against your local library, we
urge you to customize a letter from our template[3].

contacted or written your local library, and please let your friends
and fellow patrons know about the open letter.
