Zamzam, Ka'bah, Safa & Marwah

Have you ever heard about the source / water channels that are feeding the ZamZam well ?

 

It is a surprise that Allah Feeds the well with some water tunnels that are erupting from the foundations of Ka'bah, Safa & Marwah. So Allah Has Connected ZamZam with His House & His SYMBOLS.

 

إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ اللّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ (2:158)

 

Behold! Safa and Marwah are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth.

يقول المهندس يحي كوشك وهو يحمل شهادة الدكتوراه في هندسة البيئة من جامعة واشنطن الأمريكية العام 1971م مصادر مياه بئر زمزم وفق التحديد الذي قام به مع الفريق العلمي الذي رأسه عام 1400 هـ ونشر نتائجه في كتابه (زمزم) بقوله: "المصدر الرئيسي فتحة تحت الحجر الأسود مباشرة وطولها 45 سم، وارتفاعها 30 سم، ويتدفق منها القدر الأكبر من المياه. والمصدر الثاني فتحة كبيرة باتجاه المكبرية (مبنى مخصص لرفع الأذان والإقامة مطل على الطواف)، وبطول 70 سم، ومقسومة من الداخل إلى فتحتين، وارتفاعها 30 سم. وهناك فتحات صغيرة بين أحجار البناء في البئر تخرج منها المياه، خمس منها في المسافة التي بين الفتحتين الأساسيتين وقدرها متر واحد. كما توجد 21 فتحة أخرى تبدأ من جوار الفتحة الأساسية الأولى، وباتجاه جبل أبي قبيس من الصفا والأخرى من إتجاه المروة.

The main source of Zamzam is a water channel coming directly from underneath the Hajar-al-Aswad (Black stone) with a length of 45 cm and a height of 30 cm. The second source is a large opening towards Mukabbir (place where the Moazzin gives Azaan) and it has a length of 70 cm, it is divided further from the inside in 2 slots, and has a height of 30 cm. There are small openings between the foundation stones in the well, five of which are located at a distance of one meter from the 2 parent openings (which feed the well). There are another 21 slots starting from the vicinity of parent feeder (hole), and they are coming from the direction of Jabal Abu Qubeis / Safa and from Marwah.
