Choleterol & Vision ?

Assalam O Alaikum,

 

The relation between high cholesterol, poor vision & Hijamah is understood from the following Hadith:

 

وفى "جامع الترمذىّ" عن عبَّاد بن منصور، قال: سمِعتُ عِكْرمَةَ يقولُ: "كانَ لابن عباسٍ غِلمةٌ ثلاثةٌ حَجَّامُون، فكانَ اثنَانِ يُغلانِ عليه، وَعَلَى أهلِهِ، وواحدٌ لحجمِهِ، وحجمِ أهلِهِ. قال: وقال ابنُ عباسٍ: قال نبىُّ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "نِعْمَ العبدُ الحَجَّامُ يَذْهَبُ بالدَّمِ، وَيُخِفُّ الصُّلْبَ، ويَجْلُو البَصَرَ".

 

In Tirmizi, it is narrated by Abbaad Bin Mansoor that he said: I heard Ikramah saying that Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anh had three slaves who were Hajjaam (a person who performs cupping), two of them used to work for him & his family (probably at his garden & to carry the grains & load to his house) & one of those slaves performed cupping. Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anh reported that Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam said : "The best of slaves is HAJJAAM (one who performs Hijamah ~ wet cupping), Hijamah takes out the blood, & removes the pain from the back & enhances the vision".

 

Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam guaranteed that Hijamah enhances the vision, & we have no options left for those who can't trust the words of our beloved Prophet (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam). We are terribly sorry for them.

 

Among most of Hijamah patients, a common issue observed was that their cholesterol level quenched down drastically after Hijamah & from here, I had the feeling that high cholesterol can cause blurred vision, furthermore, Hijamah at the head & Akhda'ain drains out the blood from the surrounding area of optic nerve. Many patients, especially those who were cupped at the head immediately felt an extra light in their eyes, the example is that before Hijamah started, we suppose that a single bulb was glowing in the room, and after Hijamah, some extra bulbs were switched on in the same room, so what do you feel, is it a miracle or not ?????

 

Your father can have the lipid profile test, plus Diabetes Test. Some patients who suffer with these 2 diseases (High lipids+Diabetes) simultaneously are the worst endangered, they may suffer with Bell's Palsy, CVA (Faalij) and tumors in future, may Allah Save all of them. In-sha`Allah, I am all willing to go by your advice.   I am not sure about my father's cholesterol level, but he is surely obese. Unfortunately, I could not manage its Spectro-Analysis Test, which can confirm that it is Sb2S3.   Abu Ja'fer Al-Ghafiqi wrote that kneading Ithmid in mushroom water is the best option, so that the two blessed cures are combined together, I have done it, it imparts violet color to the eyes like a Maskara & it clears the eyes, one of my friends said that Ithmidee color seems like the color of Jannah.
