Daum Palm for Hypertension

Have you ever heard of a date ~ Khajoor that weighs around 100 grams a piece ?

 

It is the Daum Palm ~ Hyphaene thebaica, found in Egypt, Sudan, Africa & some parts of Saudi Arabia. the tree spreads out with more than 2 stems & it is a miracle of my Allah's creations, I found a tree last year on my way to KAHIL (east of Usfaan).

 

Arabs are familiar with the health benefits of Daum, they say that it is good for curing piles, carbuncles, burning sensation while urinating, etc. And its water is FAMOUS for reducing blood pressure.

 

Break 2 pieces of Daum, remove the seeds & soak them in 2 glasses of water for 12 hours inside the refrigerator, you will get a nice colored ~ sweet drink which quenches the thirst immediately.
