Zameer Sahib,
Citron ~ Turunj is not available anywhere, but I
have found its dried peel, when added to foods like curries, sweets, Ice creams,
salads, etc. it enhances the taste & aroma. For Anemia, the
article appeared on the group dated Dec 25th, 2010, & it is copied
below once again.

Subject: Anemia &
Hijamah
Assalam O Alaikum,
Anemia is a blood
disorder, red blood cells decrease resulting in IRON / hemoglobin
deficiency, & because hemoglobin is the carrier of oxygen to
all tissues & organs, anemic patients have a weak immune system, weak
organs & a pale colored face & skin. There could be many reasons for
Hemoglobin deficiency, poor diet, pollution, side affects of medicines, etc.
Refined carbohydrates like white bread, polished rice (white), sugar, and
desserts rob the body of its much-needed iron.
Prior to Hijamah, we should treat
the patient by healing his heart & soul; with Saalehaat like Salaat,
Zikr, Tilawat, Sadaqah & Dua, protecting the eyes, ears
& tongue, cutting off the dish antenna & music.
Then, Tibb-e-Nabwi foods are the
next capsules, Thareed (mutton & barley bread), Hais (dates with barley's
Saweeq), Nabeez, Talbinah, honey, pomegranate, olive oil, figs & finally the
magnificent beetroot soup with barley bread.
You may also add flaxseeds, sesame
seeds & almonds in Talbinah. Wheat & rice should be completely
avoided, replaced by barley bread.
Green leafy vegetables are also a
good source of Iron, & the leading horse in this category is
spinach, but it should always be cooked with fresh fenugreek
(Methi), just in order to combine the healing of Tibb-e-Nabwi. At some
occasions, we prepare beetroot soup with the greens such as broccoli, parsley,
green beans, etc.
With strict management of
Tibb-e-Nabwi foods for 30-45 days, you may cup the patient at Akhda'ain &
KAHIL only. Hijamah is the one fifth portion from healing of Tibb-e-Nabwi &
the patient should have his share from this category as well.
Regarding Hijamah for pregnant
women, it should be managed before the pregnancy, we request
that all sisters should undergo Hijamah regularly, 3 ~ 4 time per year, so
that their blood remains free from toxins, & no one knows when Allah Decides
for a couple to have a child, but if both the mother & father have a healthy
blood, of course the child will be healthy Insha'Allah.
During pregnancy, Hijamah should be
avoided for the first 7 months & it can be taken after the 8th month
starts, and Allah Knows the best.
