We have heard from some patients of Hypertension & Kidney disease that doctors prevent them from drinking ZamZam, they claim that the Holy water has salts in excess, which can be seen as white flakes that precipitate at the bottom of a bottle; in which ZamZam is kept for few weeks.

A comparison is as under :

Cations
ZamZam
Bottled Water
WHO
Calcium
80 ppm
15 ~ 20 ppm
75 ~ 100
Sodium
170 ppm
15 ~ 20 ppm
100 ~ 200
Magnesium
24 ppm
2.5 ~ 5.0 ppm
100
Potassium
60 ppm
0.5 ~ 1.0 ppm
50 ~ 100

ZamZam is high in Calcium, Sodium, & very smartly high in Magnesium & Potassium, it was designed by Allah because when the pilgrims had to come for Umrah, Tawaf & Hajj, they would sweat in the intense hot climate of Makkah, that could cause dehydration with depletion of minerals. So ZamZam rejuvenates & refills the loss very quickly.

The second issue is about Sodium.

Table salt in most of the advanced countries is produced by Fractional crystallization of sea water, which gives purity of Sodium Chloride as 99 %, with most of the vital minerals in sea water removed by the chemical process.

It is well known that Sodium alone is not the cause of Hypertension, when it is coupled with the absence of Calcium & Magnesium, Sodium (Na+) is harmful for blood pressure patients.

Look at the perfect balance of positive ions in ZamZam, when Calcium & Magnesium are high & especially the Potassium which you will never find in most of the bottled waters supplied in the market.

Being highly alkaline as pH of 7.90, ZamZam is the best water for neutralizing Acidosis & all diseases that result from high acids in the body, furthermore, I have seen that ZamZam catches more of the OH ions when it gets older, I have measured the pH of ZamZam going as high as 8.30, it is a Miracle that is only known to Allah.

If someone has doubts about ZamZam, he should repent & seek forgiveness of Allah.
