try to ask the arabian people of rural areas, they will surely tell you something, and the older arabic scripts, you will be successful inshALLAH. as I am trying to make pure , halal and chemical free soap for about 1 year, with coconut oil and soda, but the problem is few days back i found that the soda(alkali) is actually carcinogenic.

i am trying to find alternative of alkali because it is the basic ingredient of soap. the following are the like pictures of my soap which i have prepared myself at my home.

the alkali is carcinogenic (cancer causing chemical) it cant be used. advice me some reciepe to prepare a pure herbal bath soap or soolution. i am very worried about it.

We have heard about washing the face with soil (Matti), at some occasions, Sidr leaves (soaked in water) were also used for washing the head. I could not find a strong reference for your question, but Muslims were making soap by LIME, ALKALI & olive oil OR Sesame Oil.

These days, they have replaced oils by ANIMAL FATS, & it is doubtful if the fat is from a Halal source.

can you please tell me what our beloved PROPHET (S>A>W>W) used to wash HIS HANDS and FACE MUBARAK , and with which thing HE  used to bath. because soap is the new product and it contains many harmful chemicals and carcinogens, which are harmful for human health especially for males.
