Bhai Zubair,

Almost 150 years ago (before Antibiotics were introduced), the key to recovery from tuberculosis was plenty of rest, relaxation and fresh air.  It was also believed that the aromatic scent of pine trees would combat the effects of tuberculosis. TB hospitals were constructed in hilly areas where the patients were kept for months; to inhale the fresh air which came after touching the pine trees, bringing the aroma. What a miracle of Allah's creations..............

Altitude above sea level, a pleasant weather, snowfall, rain & thunder, fruit orchards, pine forests, lakes, rivers, trout fish, naturally growing herbs including Qust-al-Bahri & fresh air, these are the gifts from northern valleys of Pakistan. At Dadar (Dodhial) in Kaghan valley, a TB hospital still exists that is surrounded by pine trees. The sanatorium was built by British.
