As requested - if you're interested in the proposed Clague Walking Path/Track near the school, then here's more information about tonight's meeting about it at Clague.

Hello.

Would you please share this with others on the Thurston Nature Center Committee and on the OHMHA e-mail lists and with anyone else in the neighborhood who might find it of interest?

Thanks,
Margaret Weiss

Hello, Friends & Neighbors:

This is Lola Killey, Clague parent and PTSO Treasurer.

If you have not heard already, there is a proposal floating within the Clague Middle School PTSO that proposes using funds that have been accumulating for many years for a walking path/track at the middle school. There is a Town Hall meeting this coming Monday night, December 12th, at 7pm in the Clague Middle School's Media Center to discuss the proposal.

It is recognized that many people will not be able to make the meeting. Because of this, I created the clagu...@gmail.com email account to send out information to people I know in the Clague district to ask that they read the proposal (attached), and reply back to this email address with their opinions about the proposal. This way, there will be a larger representation of the population voicing opinions. This is not a vote. This is an effort to hear as many of the voices of the community as possible.

Therefore, I am humbly asking you to please read the proposal and reply to this message with your comments and opinions. Note - You do not have to have a child enrolled at Clague Middle School. The PTSO and the Clague school administration are interested in the opinions of all households within the Clague Middle School district because the walking path/track would be considered a community asset and resource.

King Elementary School parents - your opinions and experience regarding the path that the King PTO put in at that school would be a great benefit to this effort. Please forward this to people you know in the King community.

When you reply, it would be helpful if you included:
1) Your first and last name
2) Your street address (so we can know that you are in the Clague district)
3) Your child's name, if you are a Clague Middle School parent - OPTIONAL and not necessary.

Also, please feel free to forward this message to other neighbor's and friends. As I said, any person or family that lives in the Clague Middle School district may voice their opinion. I have attached a list of Clague Middle School district street names along with the proposal so that people can check if they are in the district.

Thank you very much for your attention. I know this is a very busy time for everyone, and even reading email is a challenge. THANKS! Call me or email me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Lola Killey
