Manual login process prompts for mobile number as follows:

"Protect your account

Add a mobile number to better protect your account. Yahoo! will send you recovery information if you forget your password or become locked out of your account. Yahoo! will also use this mobile number to help defend against hackers who may have stolen your password, by sending a security code that you can use to unlock your account. It is important to keep this information up to date.

Pressing [Save and Continue button] without adding phone number goes directly to email inbox without problems.

Error Console:

You need to login using a browser and clear the security question

I've been getting the "Too many Login's" error for about a week now.

YahooPOPBETA.js: loginHandler : Exception : Error.
Error message: Too Many Login's

I'm using TB 17 (though it happened on 16.02 as well), WebMail 1.5.1 and Yahoo 1.5.7

As for the secret question stuff, there wasn't ever any popup or anything out of the ordinary, but I've now set up the second sign-in verification. Not that it changed anything ;-)

So yeah, anybody have any ideas?

From the ThunderBird (TB) Add-ons Manager - select "Options" for the "WebMail-Yahoo 1.5.7" add-on.  Within the "Yahoo Options" window, click the tab "Advanced" and select (check mark), Reuse http session data*, then click close. And restart TB.
Also, log into your yahoo account via a web browser, then try TB again.

I use "Reuse http session data" and no longer see;

Hey man, thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately I've tried that before, as well as the Short Id option. Nothing changes. Also, all three servers are running locally (at least according to the green lights). Bums me out.
