Hotmail - Still having issues after "Outlook" upgrade

I'm still experiencing the following issues:

 

The messages remain unread on the server
1. Replying of Forwarding messages including formatted text doesn't work (negative vibes, check message and try again). Cutting and paste the text as unformatted works fine.
2. The special Italian characters ò à ù ì è é  are sent as ò à ù ì è é so they are unreadable when received. Sending the same using a Gmail account works fine. So I don't think it is a Thunderbird setting.

Running WEBMAIL 1.5.2b1 and Hotmail 1.4.0b5

 

I'm available to send the logs if needed.

 

Any help would be really appreciated.

Since yesterday I cannot send simple messages anymore. Getting Negative Vibes. :-(

Well, I've got the fix from the web author.

This solves the special character issue (make sure to set your character encoding to western), the messages unread on the server and the issues replying/forwarding messages containing formatted text.
