Timeout on Hotmail Webmail on 5981.90 KB attached file. Forwarded AOL settings timeout???

Using Webmail.

Been Working Correctly, with all Folders, for a few months, then, before that, it has worked for Years and I have many Years of emails, in my Thunderbird Hotmail Webmail.

Now, I appear to have an Error, on TimeOut, on a large email, receiving from my Brother, with a Video Clip attached.

The Size of the 5981.90 KB, and is a Video.

I Only Know the size because I went to Hotmail and Forwarded it to an AOL acoount, which allowed me to download it in Thunderbird, with no Time Outs, though did take a time, but Thunderbird showed me a progression bar for downloading the email, which was great, as I could see the progress.

As for Hotmail, it just says downloading one email, then, after 30-40 seconds says Timeout.

 Questions....

1) Is there a Setting to stop that time out, or is that a setting by Hotmail?

2) Is there a way to add feature to Webmail to show percentage, or would that require the Hotmail to be set up to show Subject only, to start, then the content.

Thunderbird > Tools > Options > Advanced tab > Network and Disk Space

Increase network connection timeout (I have mine set to 300 seconds).
