1. Downloaded and installed WebMail 1.3.1 extension - Added server,
POP and SMTP running

2. Downloaded and installed WebMail OWA 0.6.0 - Added domain and URL
successfully

3. Created new Webmail account in Thunderbird - domain is "localhost"
and user name as <us...@domian.com>

4. Tried to get messages ... get "Sending password did not succeed.
Mail server responded: negative vibes from <us...@domain.com>"

17:12:06 PM--nsOWA.js: loginHandler : Exception : TypeError.
Error message: aszInput[i].match(kOWAName) has no properties

17:12:06 PM--nsOWA.js - serverComms msg -ERR negative vibes

I've seen other people getting the "negative vibes" but haven't seen a
cause/solution posted ... yet.

Cheers

Hi there,

i got a simple but maybe helpful solution for the one or other, who
got "negative vibes" with hotmail-accounts.

Just check the add-on-settings of "webmail-hotmail" and make sure,
that all your hotmail-accounts have the right access.
Because somehow, one of my two hotmail-accounts had the setting
"access via webdav" and not via "windows live hotmail" (or "msn
hotmail"). So after i changed that, no negative vibes occurred in
relation with that hotmail-account.

I know its simple but maybe helpful.

Bye,
salut to the solut
