RESCUES!!!

Hi Lisa, I am SO HAPPY for you! Is your landlord an animal person? Do you
think he could go to someone else's house if it was close to him?
Unfortunately, I'm not getting any reports from our group that ANY of the
ORGS were involved in our rescues. It's always a family member, themselves
or a friend! We HAVE had some successes with members of our group getting to
another member's pet.IN PARTICULAR, ASHLEIGH (girli...@hotmail.com) has
SAVED 2 dogs and a cat when she went INTO KENNER and METAIRIE via I-10 from
Baton Rouge. These were strangers to her (not anymore!) from OUR GROUP. And
she may go back. To me she's a HERO! She couldn't get to some houses because
of flooding but SHE TRIED! And that's all it takes!

COME ON PEOPLE!!! If ANYONE is going back, PLEASE!, get a few addresses
(OR JUST ONE!) and just do it.
