undefined methoed 'configuration' when indexing

Hi,

I'm new to Thinking Sphinx and Ruby in general. I've installed TS on
my Windows XP machine using git. Everything seemed to install fine.

When I try to index I get the following error:

rake aborted!
Undefined method 'configuration' for Rails:Module

---
I've only found one reference to this elsewhere and no solution.

Any ideas?

I'm using Instant Rails 2 which has Ruby 1.8.6 and Rails 2.0.2

how recently did you install it?
