Subject: Think Girl Book Club: April 13
Hello!

Here's a reminder for the TG BOOK CLUB, which is about a week away.

We will be discussing Medicine Stories: History, Culture and the
Politics of Integrity by Aurora Levins Morales.

This book club will be held at Julie's house in Ferndale on Sunday,
April 13 at 5pm. We'll be having a potluck, so bring a dish to share.

To RSVP and get directions email Julie at juliefia...@mail.com or join
us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=25916215568

Feel free to attend the book club even if you have not read all of
Medicine Stories' essays. We will be discussing women's history,
environmentalism, and health and balance for feminist activists.

TG WORKSHOPS

We've had a great response from people looking for volunteer at our
workshops. If this is you here are two events you should attend!

SUNDAY, APRIL 20: Workshop Orientation
3pm at AJ's Music Cafe in Ferndale. (240 W. Nine Mile, Ferndale, Mi
48220) Everyone is welcome to attend. We will be going over the
workshops and our expectations of volunteers. Please bring a current
resume.

(We have realized this is the weekend of Passover. So, to those of you
who will be observing and unable to make it, feel free to send us an
email and we'll make sure to include you on our volunteer list:
thinkg...@gmail.com)

SATURDAY, APRIL 26: Body Image/Media Literacy Workshop
11am - 12:30pm at the Farmington Branch of the Farmington Community
Library (23500 Liberty Street Farmington, MI 48335) Volunteers will be
expected to attend a workshop before they will begin working.

Have a great weekend!

Sarah
