I disagree- what's wrong with using brlcad, opencascade, pythonOCC,
etc.? I think it would be better to use IGES or STEP with parametric
values, since you can convert from STEP/IGES to STL (makerbot output)
and also use the models in professional CAD environments too. With
STL, you just get a mesh, and so far nobody has made a parser that
goes from OpenSCAD to anything standard.
