I'd love a place you could make requests. I'd tackle this one for you but until I get my makerbot you'd have to iterate the designs for me until we get it right.
How hard would it be to make one in blender? Even better, take an existing scanned model and punch holes in it to make something functional and beautiful.
Just take the propellor off an arducoptor print, and hollow it out. As a
bonus, when you turn it on it will fly around the yard decapitating
flowers and scaring the neighbours.

Just take the propellor off an arducoptor print, and hollow it out. As a
bonus, when you turn it on it will fly around the yard decapitating
flowers and scaring the neighbours. Or the other way around.

I printed this out http://www.thingiverse.com/derivative:27302 and it
fits on the hose perfectly. I'm thinking of making the sprinkler body
out of some other existing thing on thingiverse and gluing them
together or something.

Haha, agreed. It's not about the cost or time or effort, it's the principal
of the thing man! The way of the "cartesianista", if you will. I won't lose
hope for you!

I had a thought about he sprinkler what if we took the Stephen Colbert
head and put it face up with a hose inlet in the neck and the make
holes in the eyes so we could water our lawns with "Freedom Tears".
LOL

I keep having people asking me for things that just aren't on
Thingiverse yet. Today a lady asked me if I could make a dream
catcher... I'm not sure if a plastic dream catcher would actually
catch dreams but it would nice if there was a place to ask for this on
Thingiverse.
