Hello and Welcome to the Month of Love at The Yoga Studio!

For those of you that haven't heard, we are hosting 29 days of Self
Luv through the month of February at The Yoga Studio. We have 25
people signed up (all are welcome) to explore regular committed and
supportive practice. If you would like to join, you just have to show-
up 5 times per week for an awareness practice with yourself. These
practices can be on your mat (sitting/moving) at the studio or your
house (there will be additional classes for participants to choose
from...see updates below:). We want to support home practice and
believe it is an integral part of this journey. Let us see what can
happen together! All participants will be invited to join an open-
potluck (with door-prizes) at the end of the month:)

Other events this month and beyond!
1. Lydia and Sarah are running a Yoga Retreat March 23-25th. It will
be off the grid at the Sea-to-Sky retreat centre...immerse yourself in
the forest, breath deeply, enjoy quiet and delve into the layers of
movement and stillness we call Yoga. Early bird price (includes
lodging and meals) until Feb 15th - only $345 (plus hst).
2. Join Sarah for 'A Day of Practice - Sunday Feb 19th - 7 am - 1
pm' This workshop will include long hold restorative hip openers and
a silent homemade breakfast (among other juicy movement exploration).
Limited to 12 participants, register and pay in advance.
3. Kathryn Weiler's 'Meditation and Movement' Morning Yoga class
continues through the whole month of February. Thursday Mornings 7 -
8:15 am. $15 drop-ins are welcome and Kathryn is graciously opening
up her class to all participants in the 29 Days of Self-Luv. Join her
for a wonderful and gifted morning of practice. We are very lucky to
have Kathryn sharing with us at The Yoga Studio:)
4. Wade Imre Morisette will be returning to The Yoga Studio tomorrow
evening for an 8-week - Breath Into Vinyasa course....Registration for
8 weeks is $100. He is running the course with a minimum number and
we are very excited to have his enthusiasm and love for yoga with us
here in Squamish. If you would like to drop-in and try out his class,
you can drop-in for $15. Tuesday Evenings Jan 31st - March 20th -
5:30 - 7 pm.
5. Full Moon Meditation is Next Tuesday, February 7th at 8:30 pm after
the YIN yoga class with Sarah. Join us for some silence together.
6. Amie Taylor is running a 1-day workshop on Saturday Feb 25th from
2 - 4:30 pm. Therapeutic Yoga for the Hips and Shoulders. Amie's
focus is on pain-free range of motion to support pure movements (great
for people with injuries and chronic pain). Everyone is welcome and
there will be plenty of learning and new ideas to go around. Limited
space - advanced registration please.
7. Annie is running a wide variety of registered courses - yoga
nidra, pre-natal, post-natal, her ongoing chakra workshop (Feb 18th
this month:) and a new registered course on Wednesday evening - Yoga
Therapy of the Shoulders and Hips. This course will explore alignment
in common postures that will help support ease and stability in the
shoulders and hips. Only a few spaces remain. Annie is opening up
her registered classes to all the 29 Days of Self-Luv participants -
feel free to drop in and experience any of her classes through the
month of Feb if you are signed up for the committed month of practice.

Last, but definitely not least...NEWS for March - Lydia will be back
in the yellow room, we all look forward to her gentle smile and
endless open sharing. Sarah and Lydia will be sharing 2 registered
courses together starting in March - Advanced Registration with Early
Bird Prices. Tuesday Mornings - 7 - 8:15, Yoga for Ease in the
Shoulders and Neck and Friday Mornings 9:30 - 11 - At Ease. See
