I don't drink as much beer as I used to but if I did and I won the lottery, this would be in my top 10 list of things to buy to go in my mansion.

I love this. But this is where we guys are short sighted. We only see a walk in beer cooler. If you really want this (and due to the price only the wealthy really have a shot at it i believe...) you need to think outside the beer cave title and present this to the spouse as a walk in refrigerated pantry.

I'll admit that you will lose 2/3 or maybe even up to 3/4 of the storage space to such other crazy items like (gasp) vegetables and (pitter patter) meat and cheese, but you'll still have PLENTY of space for bottles or cans of beer AND you get to have a keg on tap and cold all the time.

It's all in the way you present the product, i'm telling you!

Well, technically, if you really want to make the better half happy, you wouldn't even need the space for bottles, just the one area for, at least, two kegs; one on tap and the other as backup. That way the rest is left for storage.

There's plenty of room for wine and liquor--I think I'd need one about half this size to house the current bar supplies, but why limit myself, right?

Ed, i considered that...but i feel that a case can easily be made that you have to have some bottles and/or cans of beer available. What if you are invited to a party, you want to bring some beer but all you have is a keg...that's a no go. If you can afford this beauty in your dream kitchen, you can make a solid case to the spouse that you have to have a variety of other beers for guests etc. Sure maybe you only have 3-4 cases of various other beers in the beer cave, er um, walk in refrigerated pantry...but hey that's 4 different cases AND a keg or 2!!

Beer FTW!
