I was just thinking, one could actually do numerous podcast episodes on
John Carpenter's work. I was even recently reminded of a particular work
Carpenter did for the Showtime series (I think it was Showtime) Masters of
Horror called Cigarette Burns. This story was probably one of his most
disturbing pieces. It kind of reminded me of In the Mouth of Madness.
If you have Netflix, I highly recommend this series, Masters of Horror,
and that episode. I saw it when it was available as a stream on Netflix.
I'm not quite sure if it is still available in that format though.

I finally got around to listening to this episode. Good stuff. I
watched Prince of Darkness again about three years ago. After
listening to this episode I want to see the movie again. I plan on
putting it in the Netflix queue at the top for this month's Ed's
October Horrorfest viewing.
I'm looking forward to your The Thing episode. Hopefully you guys will
record it sometime this month before Halloween. I have that DVD on my
shelf so I will be watching it also in the Ed's October Horrorfest.

You are in luck, Ed, as we just recorded the ep for The Thing last
night. It's a double feature of sorts as we discuss both The Thing
and The Thing From Another World. I'll post an update when it goes
online.
We have received a lot of feedback from listeners about what movies to
watch... and Cigarette Burns (along with some other MoHs) have
definitely been in the mix. We're going to have to do a planning/
brainstorming session at some point!
Glad you liked the show. This podcasting thing is still new to me so
I hoped I did alright.
