That whole e-mail portion he's bitching about is basically Microsoft's problem.  Sure, Apple could build better support for Exchange, but why would they when Microsoft already has a shoddy product to make fun of?

Oh, I loathe Outlook- we are forced to use it at work. I stick to
Google products when I can, but those don't pass HIPPA standards for
healthcare documents. Still, I know that my current HP network printer
isn't Apple friendly; who knows what else I use on a regular basis
that shares that problem.

In defense of Apple, without any bias, if you read the article it was
actually MacRumor's web site that got hacked.
Who knows what server platform the site is one. More than likely,
Linux.
